Madam C.J. Walker is recognized as one of the first self-made, millionaires in America. In celebration of Women’s History Month (March) and in honor of Madam C.J. Walker, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. - Pennsylvania Chapter recognizes three outstanding Black female business owners from the Philadelphia Area who have demonstrated excellence in entrepreneurial efforts and have made a contribution of community service in the region. This prestigious event has been a signature luncheon in Philadelphia
for more than 20 years and has grown to attract over 600 attendees.
